I had the pleasure of hanging out (virtually, at least) and chatting with Amber MacArthur and
Leo Laporte on their weekly podcast
net@nite. Uber-organizer and pal
Merlin Mann was kind enough to demo
Stikkit on a forthcoming episode of Leo's
Call for Help show and they were taken with it enough to invite me to chat about some of the ideas behind our work.
You can listen to the podcast at
TalkShoe (Episode 7: "iPhone?"; I pop on at time index 27:47).

Yesterday I was fascinated as I listened to your interview with Leo and Amber on net@nite, episode 7, yesterday so had to check it out.
However, I was very surprised to find that under Firefox 2.0 your stikkit.com site looks like web 0.5 and the downloaded screencasts do not play properly in Quicktime. What gives?
Am I missing a plug-in or FireFox extension? I had to resort to IE7 :( to see the screen casts, and your web site looks totally different, probably as you intend it to look. I am a diehard FireFox convert and refuse to use yours or any website if I am forced to use IE.
I hope to have time this New Year's weekend to signup and play more with stikkit as it looks like a great tool for work.
Best wishes to you Rael and all the values of n in the new year!
Hey Craig,
I'm sorry you encountered some frustration trying to watch our screencasts.
I just spent some time on this and found a misconfiguration that was causing the movies to download rather than stream. I've fixed it and you should have no trouble sitting back and watching a Stikkit streaming video or three.
Best,
Rael
Thanks Rael, your sitelooks great now and video plays great!!! :)
Just wait for what we've in store mere hours away ;-)
